Job Description We are looking for a Customer Care Coordinator to join our Affordable Homes department. This role will consist of travelling 2-3 days a week to our East of England scheme sites which can include Cambridgeshire, Essex, Hertfordshire, Norfolk and Suffolk to carry out home demonstrations and act as a liaison between residents and our organization, fostering positive relationships. What you'll be doing
Accountable for the direct delivery of LGAH’s onboarding process for all tenuresThis includes face to face home demonstrations for shared owners and ensuring our Management Providers are delivering against set standards
Providing assurance of service delivery for existing customers. This will be through reviewing key performance areas and on site inspections/visits to understand how services are being delivered
Assist In complaint management within your region. Take responsibility for relevant actions following complaint investigations and taking ownership of customer related issues
Embed a clear handover process for customers from LGAH to the Management Providers, so customers are clear on who is their main point of contact
Work closely with LGAH’s Contract Management Team to address key customer focus areas of performance across our Management Provider network. This will include lettings, onboarding and existing customer performance measures
Have oversight of the snagging process for new build homes, attending final inspections and using a customer lens to ensure quality standards are met. This includes attesting to the standards of product quality
Work with the Customer Care Manager to periodically review the customer experience from analysing feedback and insight and then propose, test and deploy improvements to deliver enhanced customer experience, and design-out customer service failure Qualifications Must have a full clean drivinglicence
Evidence of a strong interest in customer experience and what matters to customers
Solid understanding of the importance of meeting customer expectations and approaches to service delivery which achieve great customer feedback
Working within the customer service industry, ideally housing, with an excellent understanding of the issues which matter most to customers

Douglas House Independent Hospital is located in Didsbury, South Manchester, Pendlebury House is located in Swinton, both in community settings. We provide rehabilitation, treatment and care for 22 men and women (across both Hospitals), with severe and enduring mental health problems. Service Users are both detained under the Mental Health Act and have Informal status. Douglas / Pendlebury House promote and work within a recovery focused model for SU’s participating in a rehabilitation programme. We believe in a person-centred approach. We work towards each individual’s personnel recovery goals; encouraging each Service User to optimise their full potential. We aim to reintroduce and maintain daily living skills, promoting choice, independence, and confidence, in order to equip Service Users with the skills and coping strategies to live more independently in the Community whilst managing their illness/psychological distress. We are looking for a dedicated and skilled registered Occupational Therapist to join our team, working at both Pendlebury House and Douglas House Independent Hospital. You will be based working alongside the therapy teams in each hospital that consists of an assistant psychologist and art therapist to deliver the therapy programme. As an Occupational Therapist you will hold a central position within the team, working closely with the therapy team and the clinical team to develop and strengthen the therapeutic input within the service. The successful applicant will be confident in applying evidence-based models of occupational therapy that focus on maintaining and restoring functional ability, confidence and competence in living skills and promotes vocational/educational pathways, by linking into local community facilities to endorse social inclusion. The role requires strong engagement and motivational skills and flexibility in working with service users with severe and enduring mental health needs. The successful applicant will be responsible for bringing an OT focus to the activity program, delivering workshops that develop life skills, and support residents to manage and to understand conditions in mental health. You will access clinical supervision and reflective practice meetings regularly. The successful applicant will have a current professional registration as an Occupational Therapist, an understanding of recovery models/approaches with a specific focus on Occupational Therapy interventions. You will also have an awareness and understanding of mental health diagnoses, an understanding of mental health act. The successful applicant will have a keen interest in this client group, and demonstrate an ability to develop assessment skills, working primarily with assessment tools from the Model of Human Occupation, and collaborating with the MDT to devise a care plan tailored to the individual. An understanding of how to manage competing priorities in a busy environment is essential and you will be able to take a calm and professional approach in demanding situations. You will have excellent verbal and written communication skills and an understanding of strategies for encouraging engagement from client groups who can lack motivation due to the features of their mental health difficulties. Main Duties of the Job:
Evaluate and interpret clinical and non-clinical facts using highly developed clinical reasoning and problem-solving skills to clinically diagnose, formulate and implement treatment programmes and pathways of care. Intervention will be delivered in a manner that reflects choice, privacy, dignity and individuality choosing from an extensive range of treatment modalities, manual therapy techniques and disease management options.
Clinical knowledge, expertise and highly developed communication skills to reassure, persuade, motivate and empower patients and to provide support to families and carers.
Evaluate the effectiveness of treatments in relation to the rehabilitation goals and modify this accordingly as treatment progresses.
The Successful Candidate Will Have:
HCPC registration
BSc/equivalent occupational Therapist qualification
Previous NHS experience
Practices in accordance with the professional, ethical, and legal codes of the Health &amp; Care Professions Council
(HCPC), and Trust and NHS protocols and guidelines
