Locum Consultant GIM - Surrey

We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Locum Consultant in General Medicine (GIM) to join a dynamic medical team based in Surrey for a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute your expertise in a forward-thinking healthcare environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in General Internal Medicine (GIM).
• Work alongside a multidisciplinary team, providing support to junior doctors and contributing to departmental development.
• Lead and manage inpatient care, ensuring clinical outcomes are in line with best practice standards.
• Participate in regular teaching, training, and supervision of medical staff.
• Contribute to audits, clinical governance, and quality improvement initiatives.

Essential Requirements:

• At least 12 months’ experience in General Medicine (GIM) or a related field.

Desirable:

• Experience in consultant-level responsibilities.
• Any experience in sub-specialties within General Medicine is an advantage but not essential.
• Not required to be on the specialist register.
