Duration: 3-6 months
Schedule: Monday to Friday (anything between 2 and 5 days per week)
Start Date: April 2024
Rate of pay: £24-27 p/h Conducting thorough autonomous assessments of patients' health conditions.
Formulating and implementing care plans.
Providing treatment as necessary.
Using evidence-base practice and specialist skills to assess, plan, implement and evaluate interventions.
Collaborating with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Maintaining accurate and up-to-date podiatry records in line with professional standards.
Actively leading the organisation of the health &amp; social requirements of patient with neurological conditions and other complex trauma patients.
Staying current with the latest medical advancements and best practices.

B6 Diabetes Podiatrist - Locum

Maidenhead are looking to recruit an enthusiastic Occupational Therapist to join the Front Door Team. The client offers a full-time contract with an opportunity to work from home, a fair and manageable caseload and further training in your portfolio. The vacancy will be for an initial 3 - 6 months with potential for extension. Main Duties for the Occupational Therapist includes. Assessment of service users and carers with complex needs in relation to home environment
working along side the Team Manager. Visits to residents homes will be required. To ensure collaboration with our partner agencies.
Providing expert advice, and assessments for equipment and home modifications.
Recommending adaptations.
Moving and handling assessments.
An awareness of the importance of safeguarding vulnerable people, plus an understanding of the importance of dignity &amp; respect when dealing with people.
Understand and demonstrate the council's values and behaviours, working collaboratively with colleagues, attending meetings and proactively contributing and problem solving.To Be Successful. Previous experience working as an Occupational Therapist in the community.
