As a Consultant Anaesthetist, you will be responsible for providing expert anesthesia services, ensuring optimal patient outcomes across a variety of surgical and medical procedures. You will also contribute to critical care, pain management, and emergency response, collaborating closely with surgeons, physicians, and nursing staff.Key Responsibilities✔ Conduct preoperative patient assessments and develop tailored anaesthetic plans ✔ Deliver safe and effective anaesthesia for surgical, diagnostic, and obstetric procedures ✔ Monitor patients throughout surgery, adjusting anaesthesia as required ✔ Provide postoperative pain relief and intensive care support where needed ✔ Participate in emergency and trauma resuscitation ✔ Contribute to training, mentoring, and supervision of junior doctors and trainees ✔ Engage in research, quality improvement, and policy development initiativesWhat We’re Looking ForEssential:<ul><li>Full GMC registration with CCT (or equivalent) in Anaesthesia</li><li>Extensive experience in general and regional anaesthesia</li><li>Strong leadership, teamwork, and decision-making skills</li><li>Commitment to patient safety, innovation, and best clinical practices</li></ul>Desirable:<ul><li>Fellowship in a subspecialty (e.g., critical care, pain management, obstetric anaesthesia)</li><li>Research and teaching experience</li></ul>If you would like to enquire for any further information, then please call&nbsp;07907 862115&nbsp;to speak to&nbsp;Jacques,&nbsp;one of our expert consultants who will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have.
