Veterinary Surgeon - With GP experience

We are a working with a well-established veterinary practice in the heart of Rotherham, committed to providing high-quality care for pets and animals in the local community.  Due to continued growth, they are looking to expand their team and are seeking a skilled and compassionate Vet Surgeon with GP experience to join their practice.

The Role:
As a Vet Surgeon, you will play an integral role in our daily operations, providing care for a wide range of animals. Your primary duties will include:

• Consulting with clients on a variety of cases, providing advice, diagnosis, and treatment plans.
• Performing routine surgeries, such as spaying, neutering, and soft tissue procedures.
• Handling emergency care and critical cases as needed.
• Maintaining accurate and detailed patient records.
• Collaborating with a supportive team of vets, nurses, and receptionists.
• Contributing to the continuous improvement of practice standards and protocols.

About You:
The ideal candidate will have:

• A veterinary degree (MRCVS or equivalent).
• Solid experience in general practice (GP) surgery and diagnostics
