A veterinary practice located in the heart of Morden, offering comprehensive veterinary care with a compassionate, client-centered approach. They are seeking a Veterinary Nurse with an interest in animal behavior. If you have a passion for understanding and managing animal behavior, we want you to join our supportive and enthusiastic team!
Role Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality care to patients, including nursing assistance in surgery and recovery.
- Support veterinarians in behavior consultations, including client education on managing common behavioral issues.
- Assist in running behavior-focused workshops or seminars for clients.
- Work closely with the team to implement behavior management plans for patients with anxiety, aggression, or other behavior concerns.
- Ensure excellent communication with clients, providing them with the tools and advice
Key Requirements:
- Registered Veterinary Nurse (RVN) with a valid RCVS registration.
- A strong interest in animal behavior, with some experience in behavior management (certifications in behavior or relevant courses are a plus).
