Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage the daily operations of a unit specialising in elderly care, ensuring the highest standards of care for 23 residents.
Supervise and support a team of care staff, offering mentorship, performance reviews, and professional guidance.
Develop and implement tailored care plans in collaboration with healthcare professionals, residents, and their families, focusing on the specific needs of elderly individuals.
Ensure compliance with all regulatory standards and care policies, maintaining a safe and caring environment for all residents.
Conduct regular quality checks and audits, implementing improvements where necessary.
Foster strong relationships with residents, their families, and healthcare teams, ensuring a compassionate and person-centred approach to care.
Manage staffing levels, rotas, and shifts, ensuring optimal coverage, including handling overtime and bank holiday requirements.
Participate in recruitment, training, and the continuous development of care staff to ensure high-quality elderly care.

What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in a leadership or supervisory role within an elderly care or residential care setting.
A compassionate, resident-focused leader with strong communication and organisational skills.
In-depth knowledge of elderly care and the ability to develop and manage care plans that meet individual residents' needs.
NVQL2 or 3 in health and social care
Medication Trained
Ability to inspire and motivate a team to provide exceptional care.
Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends, holidays, and manage overtime as required.
