Job Title: Team Leader - Mental Health Support for Young Adults

Job Summary:
Claire at Amber Mace is seeking a compassionate and motivated Team Leader to join the dedicated team supporting younger adults with mental health conditions. In this role, you will lead a team of support workers, providing guidance and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care to empower our clients in their mental health journeys.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and support a team of support workers in providing care and assistance to young adults with mental health conditions.
Develop and implement individual care plans in collaboration with clients, families, and mental health professionals.
Conduct regular team meetings to discuss progress, challenges, and best practices.
Provide training and mentorship to team members, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
Monitor client progress and adjust care strategies as needed to ensure effective support.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions, progress, and any incidents, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with policies.
Liaise with external agencies, families, and healthcare professionals to coordinate care and resources.
Promote a culture of respect, dignity, and empowerment for clients and staff.
Qualifications:
Experience working in a mental health or support role, particularly with young adults.
NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care or equivalent qualification is preferred but not essential.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.
Understanding of mental health conditions and best practices in support and care.
Ability to work flexibly, including evenings and weekends as needed.
A compassionate and patient approach to working with clients facing mental health challenges.
