About the Role

As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred care to individuals in their own homes, supporting them with a variety of health needs, including:

  • Learning disabilities
  • Mental health conditions
  • Physical disabilities
  • Personal care needs
  • Complex care requirements

You will play a vital role in ensuring that those in your care live fulfilling, independent, and happy lives. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting with personal care and hygiene routines
  • Administering and managing medication in strict compliance with care plans
  • Supporting individuals to access the community, engage in social activities, and develop healthy relationships
  • Encouraging independence in daily tasks such as meal preparation, household chores, and financial management
  • Maintaining a clean, safe, and accessible home environment
  • Supporting with day-to-day activities, including attending appointments, shopping, and engaging in hobbies
  • Assisting individuals in managing emotions and behaviours, promoting positive mental well-being
  • Providing companionship and emotional support
  • Supporting individuals in external settings such as hospitals, holidays, or police stations if required
  • Keeping accurate records and reporting to the Service Manager

Working Hours

We offer flexible shifts to suit your lifestyle, including:

  • Days or nights available – Both outreach (3hours – 10 hours per day) and full days (12 hours).
  • Sleep-in shifts available also.
