Support Worker -Gillingham

Support Worker 

We are seeking a caring and patient Support Worker to assist an individual with learning difficulties who requires plenty of reassurance and gentle support.

Role Details:

• All visits take place outside the home.
• The client enjoys walking around charity shops, visiting coffee shops, and participating in activities like pottery sessions.
• There is a significant amount of driving involved, so a full driving licence is essential.
• Shifts are from 9:30 am to 1:00 pm, averaging 7-10 hours per week.

Requirements:

• A valid driving license and access to a vehicle. 
• A compassionate and understanding nature, with the ability to offer reassurance and encouragement.
• Experience in supporting individuals with learning difficulties is preferred.
• A positive and engaging approach to helping the client participate in their favourite activities.
