We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated Support Worker to join our team. As a Support Worker, you will provide person-centred care and one-on-one assistance to an individual with partial sight, autism, and a brain injury.
Role Details:
- All visits take place outside the home.
- Our client enjoys trips to the gym, beach, and National Trust properties, as well as dining out frequently.
- There is a significant amount of driving involved, so a full driving licence is essential.
- Promote independence and help our customer develop their life skills.
- Shifts are from 12 pm to 4 pm or 12 pm to 6 pm, with an average of 30-35 hours per week.
Requirements:
- A valid driving license and access to a vehicle.
- Patience and understanding in supporting individuals with autism and brain injury.
- Good Communication Skills: Able to listen and respond sensitively to individuals' needs.
- Ability to encourage and facilitate participation in activities like gym visits, outdoor trips, and meals out.
