Support Team Leader – Bradford
Salary: £27,000 - £29,000 (dependent on experience)
Hours: Full-time, 40 hours per week (5 over 7 days, with 1 weekend every 4 weeks)
Rota: 50% on rota, 50% off rota
On-call duties required
We are looking for an experienced and compassionate Support Team Leader to manage a supported living service in Skipton. This role offers a balanced 50/50 split between direct support on the rota and managerial duties. Key Responsibilities:
Lead, mentor, and manage a team of support staff, ensuring person-centered care for 9-10 service users in a supported living setting.
Oversee the smooth day-to-day operations of the service, including rota coordination, care plan management, and team supervision.
Support individuals directly, promoting independence and enhancing their quality of life.
Maintain high standards of care in line with CQC regulations and internal policies.
Collaborate with families, healthcare professionals, and external agencies to ensure holistic care.
Participate in on-call duties, providing support during out-of-hours situations.
Requirements:
NVQ Level 5 in Health and Social Care (preferred).
NVQ Level 3 applicants with considerable management experience and leadership qualities will also be considered.
Proven experience in leading teams in supported living or similar care environments.
Strong understanding of working with individuals with learning disabilities, mental health needs, and associated conditions.
Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
Flexibility to work weekends and participate in on-call duties as required.
