Speech & Language Therapist (Childrens Community Services) Band 6

Direct Medics is a Registered Supplier to the Northern Ireland Health and Social Care Trust Framework. We are currently working with qualified Speech and Language Therapists to help them find new and exciting opportunities with the Trusts here in Northern Ireland. As such, we are now recruiting on behalf of the Belfast Health and Social Care Trust for Band 6 Speech & Language Therapists based in the Belfast Community Clinics for childrens services. The post holder will provide specialist clinical expertise; being responsible for the assessment, diagnosis and management of the full range of communication disorders in children. The duration of the post will be until end of March 2025 and requires full time hours (37.5 hours). Salary starting from £20.28 per hour for the first 12 weeks and increasing to £21.10 per hour thereafter.

Requirements

- A degree or diploma in Speech and Language Therapy

- Current registration with RCSLT or HCPC

- At least 18 months of experience working as a speech and language therapist with children who have speech, language, and communication disorders

- Must possess a valid driving license and have access to a car for the duties of the post
