Eden Brown have an exciting opportunity for a specialist Occupational Therapist to work in a 42 bed, neuro rehabilitation setting in the Birmingham area.
The company prioritises a person-centred and evidence-based approach to rehabilitation. Their goal is to maximise independence and recovery, working closely with patients and their families to set personalised goals.
The multidisciplinary team includes specialists such as Speech and Language Therapists, Psychiatrists, Psychologists, Physiotherapists, Therapy Technicians, and more.
Your duties and responsibilities till be -
Keeping people safe from any harm and protecting their human rights Provide specialist OT interventions for a complex caseload Keep up to date with new treatment methods and be actively involved in research projects relating to specialist area Evaluate effectiveness of service and carry out audits where required Liaise effectively with multidisciplinary team colleagues Provide support and guidance for junior staff and advice with complex cases where necessary assisting in the treatment of such cases Ensure risk management and safety procedures are in place for the OT Department and adhered to Be responsible for department training and contribute to training and development of all staff Develop and maintain good working relationships with all colleagues, visitors, and carers
You will need experience working in a neuro rehabilitation setting to be considered for this role.
