The Role:
Lead Occupational Therapist (37.5 hours, Permanent - Full Time)
As the Lead Occupational Therapist, you will provide clinical, professional, and operational leadership for the OT service. You'll ensure OT services support the hospital’s objectives while working closely with multi-disciplinary colleagues to integrate patient care. Responsibilities include advanced OT assessments, treatments, managing patient care, ensuring standards and governance requirements are met, overseeing student placements, and contributing to quality improvement initiatives.
The Ideal Candidate:
- Qualified Occupational Therapist with significant experience.
- Proven leadership skills in managing and delivering OT services.
- Strong knowledge of COT Standards for Practice, Code of Ethics, and Clinical Governance.
- Experience in working with multi-disciplinary teams.
- Ability to support student placements and provide clinical guidance.
