Senior Occupational Therapist

Salary: Up to £43,777 per annum
Servisource Healthcare are seeking an experienced Senior Occupational Therapist to join a Hospice Therapy team. In this role, you will provide high-quality physiotherapy services to Hospice Inpatient, Day Services, and Community patients. You will autonomously manage a complex patient caseload with specialist palliative care needs, demonstrating advanced clinical reasoning and communication skills.
Responsibilities:
* Provide physiotherapy services across Hospice Inpatient Unit, Day Services, and Community settings
* Independently manage a complex patient caseload, conducting comprehensive specialist physiotherapy assessments and interventions
* Ensure individualised and patient-centered therapy interventions, involving patients and their significant others
* Continuously monitor and evaluate therapy interventions, modifying them as needed to meet changing patient needs
* Communicate effectively and empathetically, adapting communication style to different situations
* Advise and implement therapeutic interventions to optimize symptom management and self-management of symptoms
Requirements:
* BSc (hons) degree with HCPC registration
* Evidence of post-graduate professional development
* Experience across various inpatient and rehab specialties, e.g., oncology, respiratory
