Position Summary/Mission



The Medical Manager will provide medical leadership in the Dermatology division for the Psoriasis and Actinic Keratosis portfolio in the UK and Ireland. This role involves delivering the UK medical strategy in alignment with global Medical Affairs, ensuring scientific credibility in communications, and fostering partnerships with clinical stakeholders.


Core Responsibilities


Medical Leadership (50% Allocation):


  • Offer medical insights for psoriasis and AK treatments, managing all aspects of Medical Affairs, including disease management and medical expert relationships.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Commercial, Regulatory, etc.) to develop and execute the medical strategy and operational plans.
  • Lead initiatives in risk management, medical expert development, and brand positioning.
  • Ensure ethical compliance in all activities and support Medical Science Liaisons.


Engagement with Experts (50% Allocation):


  • Develop medical plans for strategic accounts, ensuring alignment with broader brand strategies.
  • Support publications and provide medical insights for product development and clinical trials.
  • Build relationships with key opinion leaders and collaborate on research and advisory boards.


Operational Compliance:


  • Promote patient safety and adhere to relevant laws and regulations.
  • Maintain up-to-date medical knowledge and provide compliant advice to cross-functional teams.
  • Create effective medical materials and presentations.


Required Education & Experience


  • Medical degree with UK registration as a Medical Practitioner or Pharmacist.
  • Experience in dermatology and knowledge of the ABPI Code of Practice.
  • Proven track record in building relationships with key opinion leaders and familiarity with NICE/SMC submissions.
