Senior Care Coordinator
Due to growth and Client’s commissioned care hours covered.
The Senior Care Coordinators work closely with the Operations Manager and Care Coordinators to ensure that the staff that they are responsible for are working to company and CQC regulatory requirements and ensure all documented evidence and requirements are being met through regular supervision and quality monitoring of staff.
The Senior Care Coordinator will ensure that their team of Care Coordinators meet their KPIs in ensuring staff are compliant and supported.
Key duties will include:
Provide leadership and support for assigned group of carers and Care Coordinator’s
Ensure that the company values are being met by all staff through regular observation and supervision and by leading through example.
To ensure own Client’s rotas and team of Care Coordinator’s client rotas are scheduled in advance with suitably trained and compliant staff and ensure rotas and changes are communicated effectively to Client’s and staff.
To have an understanding of the company’s targets and goals and actively work with the teams to help achieve these targets and goal.
Through coaching and monitoring the Senior Care Coordinator will support with any performance concerns of their Care Coordinator’s.
Ensure that the Client’s staffing team is kept to safer recruitment levels by working with the recruitment team to ensure any capacity requirements are alerted to them to advertise and participate in the interviewing of new care staff.
Through monitoring and coaching ensure that any cancelled care hours and agency usage are on-call rota and provide support to staff on call on a rota basis.
Complete your duty of care in reporting safeguarding and any whistleblowing concerns in line with the company policy.
