Days and hours of work: Full time, Monday to Sunday (Rota basis) and every other weekend. (Apply online only)

Salary/ Hourly rate: £11.75ph - £12.15ph
Pay Scheme: PAYE
We are recruiting on behalf of our client for the position of senior care assistant to join their team!
Our wonderful client provides care and nursing to elderly patients who specialise in Dementia care and are looking for an experienced, knowledgeable, hardworking Senior care assistant to join them!
THE ROLE
Lead the team of care assistants they are responsible for and train new staff
Have ownership of the care plan, including the creation of the care plan and its delivery
Monitor general health and be confident when delivering medication
Communicate with families about their relative’s progress
Fill in medication reports
Assist with dressing, washing and be comfortable whilst providing personal care
Serve meals and assist with feeding when required
REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE
Level 3 NVQ or above
Experience leading a team of care staff
Willingness to expand on knowledge and undertake training.
A passion for supporting elderly patients
Good communicator with basic computer skills
Excellent Commitment and reliability
