We are currently recruiting for Registered Mental Health Nurses for a NHS hospitals based in Hull. We have an all female hospital and a mixed gender hospital available with shifts. Each hospital supports adults 18+ with various mental health conditions.
Your role will be to ensure the residents are able to live as independent a life as possible by assisting with their everyday lives when needed.
Band 5 Rate:
£22 - 32
Band 6 Rate:
£26 - £43
You will need to be flexible with shifts.
Shift patterns are:
07:00 - 20:00
08:00 - 20:30
12:00 - 20:00
20:00 - 20:30
Job Requirements:
Experience working in mental health hospitals
RMN Qualified
NMC (Nursing & Midwifery Council Registered)
Experience working in NHS
Restraint training
DBS on update service (desirable)
Good communication and teamwork skills
Good at problem-solving and ability to make quick decisions
Key Responsibilities
Encourage New skill development
Attending appointments
Providing personal care
Enabling independence by assisting with day-to-day tasks (this may include - but not be limited to - finances, shopping, cooking, cleaning etc)
