Regional Turnaround Home Manager

£55,000 + car allowance
Job Summary: As a Regional Turnaround Home Manager ( Nurse / RGN / RMN ) , you will play a pivotal role in driving improvements across a portfolio of care homes, with a focus on homes that are underperforming or do not have a current Home Manager in place. Your leadership will shape a positive, values-driven culture, ensuring teams are aligned with key targets, regulatory requirements, and most importantly, resident wellbeing. This role requires flexibility, as national travel may be necessary based on business needs.
Key Responsibilities:
Oversee and improve the performance of designated care homes, including support for homes with no Home Manager ( Nurse / RGN / RMN )
Develop and implement a clear vision and values for each home, ensuring these are effectively communicated and embraced by all team members.
Ensure regulatory compliance and work with teams to meet specific performance targets.
Identify areas for improvement and develop action plans to address deficits.
Prioritise the wellbeing and safety of residents, ensuring that all staff are focused on delivering high-quality care.
Work collaboratively with colleagues, residents, and their families to ensure a compassionate and respectful approach to care.
Travel as required to oversee homes within the South of England and potentially other regions.
Qualifications and Experience:
Registered Nurse with a valid Pin number ( Nurse / RGN / RMN )
Registered Managers Award Level 4 or Leadership in Management in Care Level 4 or 5.
Demonstrable leadership experience within care homes, particularly in caring for vulnerable adults.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on kindness, respect, and empathy.
Comprehensive understanding of safeguarding practices and the ability to identify and act on concerns.
