We are seeking a dedicated, compassionate, and organised Receptionist to join our team. In this crucial role, you will be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, providing outstanding customer service while managing administrative tasks in a medical setting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and check in patients in a professional and friendly manner
  • Answer phone calls, schedule appointments, and manage patient inquiries
  • Process patient registrations and maintain accurate records
  • Handle patient data with confidentiality and in compliance with health regulations
  • Assist with administrative tasks such as filing, organizing, and updating medical records
  • Coordinate with healthcare providers and support staff to ensure smooth office operations
  • Manage billing and insurance inquiries
  • Ensure waiting areas are tidy and patient-friendly

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a medical practice or healthcare setting is preferred
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-oriented attitude
  • Knowledge of medical terminology is an advantage
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in office software and appointment scheduling systems
  • Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail
