With over 15 years of experience, Medical Staffing is a leading medical service provider operating across the UK. We are currently seeking a compassionate physician associate with primary care experience to work ad-hoc or long term shifts, in and around the Maidstone area.
Physician Associate requirements and qualifications:
* Must have either PG diploma or MSC
* Excellent communication skills
* Must have experience in a Primary care setting
* Has passed UK physician associate national re-certification exam
* Ideally a prescriber
* Participates in continuing professional development - CPD
* Able to work efficiently, while adapting to different environments
A bit about the role:
* Provide first point of contact care for patients presenting with undifferentiated, undiagnosed problems by utilizing history taking, physical examination and clinical decision making skills to establish a working diagnosis and management plan with the patient.
* Support management of patient's conditions through specialized clinics including but not limited to - Family planning, baby checks, COPD, Asthma, diabetes and anticoagulation.
* Provide health and disease promotion and prevention advice alongside analyzing and actioning diagnostic test results.
