Role Title: Physician Associate
Medical Staffing is delighted to offer a great opportunity for a highly motivated and experienced Physician Associate who wishes to develop their career within an exceptional primary care environment.
A bit about the role:
* Provide first point of contact care for patients presenting with undifferentiated, undiagnosed problems by utilizing history taking, physical examination and clinical decision making skills to establish a working diagnosis and management plan with the patient.
* Support management of patient's conditions through specialized clinics including but not limited to - Family planning, baby checks, COPD, Asthma, diabetes and anticoagulation.
* Provide health and disease promotion and prevention advice alongside analyzing and actioning diagnostic test results.
* Participate in duty rotas, undertaking face to face, telephone and online consultations for emergency or routine problems as determined by the PCN , including management of patients with LTC.
* Undertake home visits when required.
* Utilize clinical guidelines and promote evidence based practice and partake in clinical audits, significant event reviews and other research and analysis.
Physician Associate requirements and qualifications:
* Must have either PG diploma or MSC
* Excellent communication skills
* Must have experience in a Primary care setting
