Personal Care Assistant job summary

Do you currently work in a social care setting but are tired of the unsociable hours and shift work?

Are you looking to work within a school setting?

We are looking to recruit Personal Care Assistants to join our growing team who work within our care Team across all areas of All-Through Special Needs School in Swindon.

Crowdys Hill School caters for over 320 students with complex learning and medical needs from the ages of 4-19. The role will include providing personal care to some of our students including, pad changing and other physical support needs such as assisting with hoisting, moving and handling, carrying out diabetic blood checks and issuing medicines.

As a personal care assistant, it is essential that you are able to provide support to maintain the student's dignity and Independence at all times, have an encouraging nature and be able to maintain positive relationships with students and staff.

We are keen to speak to people who have experience of working in a care role but would also consider those that are enthusiastic and keen to learn new skills. Training will be provided for all aspects of this role.
