Job Title: Paediatric Occupational Therapist

Trust Location: Wigan, Warrington & St Helen’s

Pay Rates: £19.10ph - £30.56ph

Shift Patterns: Early, Lates, Nights, Long Days, Weekends & Bank Holidays

We are currently seeking experienced Paediatric Occupational Therapist to provide a high quality, responsive service for patients in and around the Wigan, Warrington an St Helen’s community.

The care for a population of 500,000 patients across their local clinics, hospitals, and the community sites.

What you’ll be responsible for

To provide Occupational Therapy intervention to children (aged 0 to 19 years), with a variety of conditions. To work across the geographical areas within the borough. To manage a defined caseload using evidence based/client centre principles to access, plan, implement and evaluate interventions. To regularly supervise Occupational Therapy students on practice placement. To provide leadership and clinical supervision for other staff as delegated. To continue own professional development.

The role will involve, but not be limited to you performing the above.

You’ll need to have the following qualification/experience:

A minimum of 6 months paid experience in a Paediatric Occupational Therapist environment within a similar setting in the last 3 years. Comply with Professional Registration and keep up to date with current practices. Ensure accurate records are kept in accordance registration guidelines. Undertake regular mandatory training.

*Depending on the Trust, you may require variable additional certification and skills.
