Job Title: Operating Department Practitioners (ODPs)
Location: South West England
Pay Rate: £22 - £32 per hour
HG Group is seeking skilled and motivated Operating Department Practitioners (ODPs) to join our expanding team and work in Salisbury.
You will assist in the delivery of high-quality, patient-centred care throughout the perioperative journey. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, you will ensure patient safety and contribute to the smooth running of theatre services.
QUALIFICATION AND REQUIREMENTS
* Valid registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as an ODP.
* Minimum of 6 months recent post-qualification experience in a theatre setting.
*
Sound knowledge of perioperative practice, surgical procedures, and theatre protocols.
*
Excellent teamwork, communication, and organisational skills.
*
Ability to work effectively under pressure in fast-paced environments.
*
Flexibility to work various shifts (days, nights, weekends).
*
Enhanced DBS clearance or willingness to undertake a DBS check.
*
Up-to-date mandatory training (e.g., Basic Life Support, Manual Handling, Infection Control).
