Occupational Therapy Assistant - Adaptations Team

Located in Haringey
Our Local Authority Client are recruiting an Occupational Therapy Assistant for their Adaptations Team in Haringey for a 3 month contract initially.
You'll work with families of disabled children, older people and adults with a disability or long term health condition to support their independence through the provision of equipment and adaptations.
Key Responsibilities:
Assess the functional abilities, difficulties and needs of people with physical disabilities.
Ensure the most appropriate equipment/adaptations are provided to the client.
Undertake carer's assessments and reviews in accordance with the statutory/regulatory and operational standards, policy and procedures.
Recognise the needs of carers and involve them in the decision-making process.Requirements:
Basic Education GCSE level.
Relevant experience working with people with disabilities.
