Hours: 5 days per week - 37.5 hours Term time (190 days + 4 weeks)

You will be working for an established, stable, and agile company with a unique approach to the delivery of care and education. SERVICE The Role will cover two sites, St Helens, and Newton-Le-Willows, with a total of 90 students ranging from 5 to 25 years of age. The distance between sites is roughly 15 minutes by car. The aim is to ensure equality of opportunity in access to all aspects of the curriculum regardless of the nature and degree of disability of the young autistic person. ROLE We are looking for a qualified experienced Occupational Therapist who wishes to specialise and develop their skills in this interesting and challenging field. Are you dynamic, committed, and flexible with an interest in working and developing skills in a specialist well-resourced setting? Do you have experience in assessment, facilitating 1:1 and group sessions to develop fine motor, gross motor, sensory motor skills and functional / life skills? Do you have experience of working with autistic individuals and/or learning disabilities and/or with children/adults in an education, health, or care setting? Would you like to be involved in training and facilitating staff and other groups? Are you committed to your own professional development? CANDIDATE REQS/QUALSOccupational Therapy DegreeRegistration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC)Comprehensive knowledge of Autism including how these impacts on the Individual's learning and functional skills.PROCESS There will be a screening call with consultant Ashley Collishaw before being put forward for the vacancy.
