Occupational Therapist Children & Young People Edinburgh
Occupational Therapist opportunities! 21 Health & Social Care are currently recruiting OT’s for City of Edinburgh Council. The post will be on a contracting basis working with Children & Young People with physical support needs and also for young people who are care experienced. Multi agency working will be part of the role, the major tasks are as follows:
* Direct OT Practice (70%)
* Training and development (15%)
* Role in child or adult protection incidents and concerns (15%)
Experience and Qualifications
Applicants must hold a UK recognised professional Occupational Therapist qualification and be registered, or eligible to register, with the Health and Care Professions Council.
It is essential that applicants have at least one year’s experience working as an OT with Children & Young People, with community OT experience in assessing for equipment and adaptations.
