Parker Smith Inclusion is working alongside a specialised school that supports young people with autism and learning difficulties who are seeking an occupational therapist to join their established therapist team. The school has a warm and calm atmosphere, and the students are happy in their learning environment. The schools offer education to children ages 2 to 19 from moderate to severe needs. About the Occupational Therapist role This is a full-time Occupational Therapist role salary ranging from £30,000 to £50,000 depending on experience . The whole purpose of a school-based Occupational Therapist is to help children succeed. As an OT based in highly complex settings, you will look at the whole child, tackling individual tasks, helping students find ways to do the things they need and want to do. You will liaise closely with the multi-disciplinary clinical team to provide an intensive treatment service. You will engage the children and young people within the school in innovative, helpful, therapeutic and meaningful activities, supporting them in learning and reaching their full potential.
