As an Occupational Therapist, your responsibilities will include:

- Working as an autonomous practitioner within your scope of practice, delivering a quality clinical service. - Providing specialised assessment and intervention for a varied caseload of inpatients and outpatients, including those with complex presentations. - Supporting the development of the occupational therapy service, ensuring best practice, maximum efficiency and productivity, and cost effectiveness. - Supervising, initiating and participating in evidence-based projects. - Partaking in in-service training sessions as required.

The ideal candidate for the Occupational Therapist role will have:

- A BSc (hons) degree or diploma in Occupational Therapy or equivalent. - Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) registration for Occupational Therapy. - Evidence of post-graduate professional development. - Experience of working with a variety of patients in both inpatient and outpatient occupational therapy settings. - Knowledge and experience of audit and research. - Experience of multidisciplinary team working.
