We have an exciting new opportunity for a permanentOccupational Therapist based in the Manchester Area.

Position Overview:

We are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Occupational Therapist to join our multi-disciplinary team working across our adult inpatient services.

The Occupational Therapist will work with client groups both one to one and in a group setting and should have a minimum of one years experience.

You will provide assistance to professional and clinical staff with the planning, implementation and evaluation of therapeutic activities in order to improve mental, emotional well-being and quality of life for our patients.

Suitable applicants should have a minimum of one year's experience gained within a related clinical or therapeutic environment.

It is desirable that the post-holder will have experience managing a caseload of service users with complex needs.

Providing assistance and consultation to the lead consultant regarding the therapeutic programmes on the unit Engage with patients in helpful, therapeutic and meaningful activities. Co-ordinate and manage individual treatment plans for occupational therapy and activities Provide 1:1 OT assessment and treatment Develop close working relationships with professional and clinical colleagues ensuring clinical practice is in line policy and procedure at all times, complying with statutory regulations and quality standards. Providing high level communication skills and possessing exceptional organisational skills. Key Requirements:

Minimum of one years experience of delivering Occupational Therapy strategy in a professional environment – clinical and / or therapeutic Experience of managing a caseload of patients with complex needs First rate interpersonal skills Highly organised and efficient ·

Ability to contribute to the ongoing development of the OT service BSc (Hons) in Occupational Therapy RCOT membership HCPC registration Additional benefits:
