Eden Brown Synergy has an exciting permanent, full time opportunity for an Occupational Therapist, experienced in Neurological Rehabilitation services for adult in-patients in the East Midlands region
The role is full time on 37.5 hours work week
The Occupational Therapist would form part of a specialist interdisciplinary team, in an environment that provides neuro-rehabilitation services to patients (18+ years, adults) with traumatic brain injury, severe neurological conditions, complex stroke and spinal cord injury, and undertake SMART assessments for patients in Prolonged Disorders of Consciousness (PDoC) and create bespoke treatment plans.
The Occupational Therapist would be responsible to:
Keep people safe from harm and protect their human rights Liaise effectively with multidisciplinary team colleagues Keep up to date with new treatment methods and be actively involved in research projects relating to specialist area Provide support and guidance for junior staff and advice with complex cases where necessary assisting in the treatment of such cases Evaluate effectiveness of service and carry out audits where required Be responsible for department training and contribute to training and development of all staff Ensure risk management and safety procedures are in place for the OT Department and adhered to Provide highly specialist OT intervention for complex caseload in your specialist area Develop and maintain good working relationships with all collea...
