Location: Swinton, Manchester (M27) & Didsbury, Manchester (M20)
Salary: £31,617 per annum
Hours: Days - 2 days per week
Time Recruitment is assisting a national charitable organisation in their search for a Occupational Therapist to work across our community rehabilitation services in Swinton and Didsbury!
We are searching for a strong Occupational Therapist to join this company assisting 22 men and women with severe and enduring mental health needs. The group has been established for over 60 years offering support with substance misuse, learning disability and mental health & wellbeing support across their 300 services.
As a Occupational Therapist working for a not-for-profit organisation you will hold the following responsibilities whilst working alongside a vast and robust MDT team of OT's, support staff and art therapists:
As an Occupational Therapist here you will hold a central position within the team, working closely with the therapy team and the clinical team to develop and strengthen the therapeutic input within the service.
The successful applicant will be confident in applying evidence-based models of occupational therapy that focus on maintaining and restoring functional ability, confidence and competence in living skills and promotes vocational/educational pathways, by linking into local community facilities to endorse social inclusion.
