We are looking for a Mental Health Occupational Therapist for one of our private clients based in Bristol.
We are looking to employ an enthusiastic part-time occupational therapist to join our therapy team on a fast-paced, 10-bed adult acute ward.
The role will involve completing assessments, developing and implementing person-centered treatment plans, facilitating group and 1:1 work, facilitating graded exposure, educating on coping strategies, completing community signposting and contributing to multi-disciplinary team meetings. You will also be working alongside another occupational therapist, an occupational therapy assistant and may be required to provide supervision to occupational therapy staff.
Although you will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary team, comprising of nurses, healthcare assistants, psychiatrists and a specialty doctor, a large part of the role will also involve autonomous working. You will be expected to apply your occupational therapy skills, complete thorough risk assessments and use evidence-practice to guide your therapeutic interventions.
Previous experience working in mental health is essential for this post.
Unfortunatley, we are not able to consider those who require sponsorship, you should already have your Right to Work without any restrictions.
Positive Healthcare understands that exemplary healthcare provision matters. We strive to provide an exceptional, assured, premium service that continually delights our candidates.
It is our vision to enable healthcare providers to deliver on their promises, being at their side with solutions that bridge EVERY gap so that they can continue their work seamlessly, with the right professionals in place.
Please only apply if you satisfy our requirements
