Overview
The Clinic Liaison and Trainer will be a critical role in the successful roll out of a new digital communication platform across a large network of veterinary clinics. This person will work with the team in developing a B2B2C plan and be integral in the training and success of the roll out within the clinics (practices)–helping them understand, learn, and utilise these new tools. This role does require frequent regional travel and the ability to be on-site.
Responsibilities
- You will working closely with the team to support the rollout and ongoing success:
- Develop and execute visit and training tactics for a new software-based solution to be used across many veterinary clinics within England.
- Support the roll out of a plan that includes communication, training, and support activities, with a focus on minimising disruption to daily operations and client care.
- Help tailor the approach to align with our organisation’s needs, ensuring the awareness, understanding, and adoption of this large-scale project.
- Identify and engage with champions across clinic teams to identify their compliance and challenges with the programme
- Build a rapport with the clinics and associates as you keep the new solutions top-of-mind for them
- Communicate back to the larger project/product team the unique challenges and opportunities you identify within each clinic (while looking at larger patterns).
- Monitor and adjust change tactics as needed to address challenges and ensure successful adoption across the organisation.
- You will help support the design and delivery of training programs
- Collaborate with subject matter experts, including veterinarians and clinic managers, to ensure the value proposition of the new tools is clear.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of the training and marketing materials, helping us make rapid improvements to drive successful adoption.
- Provide ongoing support and coaching to ensure their comfort, ease-of-use and promotion to their clients (pet owners).
- You will be the go-to Project Support person to:
- Help identify and catalogue any challenges that may be hindering the success of the promotion and adoption – this may be tech, operational, materials, logistics, etc.
- Help document interactions with clients, displays, materials, etc.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of project documentation, including visit overviews, training materials, progress reports, motivations, and incentives.
Your Skills
- Proven sales training experience across multiple clinics and/or multi-location small/medium businesses (ideally across a distributed geographical area)
- Demonstrated experience developing communication strategies, tactics, and materials that support awareness and adoption of new initiatives.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Experience in and understanding of roles within veterinary clinics is a plus (medical and healthcare experience is helpful if veterinary clinic knowledge is not in your background)
- Ability to learn quickly and convert that learning into accurate, confident training of others
- Strong people skills and the ability to understand and empathize with the concerns that come with change–including changes to comfortable business processes, systems, and technologies.
- Solutions-based selling and/or training experience with the ability to identify the points/messaging that will resonate best with a variety of roles
- Strong stakeholder management skills with the ability to engage and influence at all levels, including clinic teams and leadership.
- Experience working, collaborating, and communicating with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to identify opportunities to motivate others and improve training processes in rapid fashion.
- Strong follow-through and follow-up to ensure that each person and each site feels that they have a true partner in this process
