An exciting new Deputy Manager vacancy has become available at a highly regarded and successful care home in the Bath area. This is an exciting opportunity to join a beautiful care home working under the direction of a highly skilled and passionate home manager.
We are seeking a deputy manager with a motivational leadership style and keen eye for detail. The role will be a mix of supernumerary management responsibilities coupled with shift work on the floor.
Responsibilities include:
Co-ordinate the resident assessment process, ensuring resident involvement throughout
Support the Home Manager in the day-to-day operations
Undertake staff supervisions
Conduct and oversee effective handover between shifts
Support on and where required lead on recruitment, retention, supervision and development of the staff team
Requirements:
You will have a proven track record as a Deputy Manager within an elderly care home setting
Comprehensive understanding of COSHH, CQC and other relevant legislation for the provision of care for older people
Experience of and knowledge of current best practice within dementia care is highly desirable
Salary:
£22 - £25/per hour | 40hrs per week (up to £52,000pa)
Some weekend working is required
