Dental Nurse/ Receptionist/ Treatment Coordinator
Location: Manchester City Centre M3 3EL
Practice/ Further info:
* Private-owned Dental Practice
* Modern and state-of-the-art equipment
* Strong knowledge of Cosmetic and Implant treatments is preferred
Salary: £28,000
Working Hours: Full Time Variable Mon-Fri alternate Sat max 42.5 Hours

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Qualified Dental Nurse:
* GDC registration as a Dental Nurse
* Previous experience in a dental practice
* Excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care
* Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask effectively
* Knowledge of infection control and health & safety regulations
Key responsibilities of our Receptionist will include:
* Answer the Telephone in the prescribed manner
* Welcome all patients arriving at the practice
* Ensure that the appointment system is efficient and accurate
* Collect and record patient payments
* Administration & Finance
* Familiar with Dental Software, ideally Dentally
* Complete and return relevant forms for private schemes within a specified timescale.
* Encourage prompt payments and chase outstanding debts according to the practice policy
* Liaise with dental laboratories, supply companies and other organisations as required
* Organise patient recalls
* Compile day sheets
* Keep the office, reception area and waiting room clean and tidy
* Organise stock supplies and control
* Other duties as necessary for the efficient operation of the practice (perhaps including the duties and tasks of a dental nurse when required)
* Undergo training as may be required to develop your skills and abilities
* Attend refresher and update training for medical emergencies and CPR
Key Responsibilities TCO/Nurse:
* Overseeing new patient journey and confidently presenting treatment plans
* Consultations with patients to discuss their desired results
* Follow-up care, ensuring all patients are supported throughout their treatment journey
* Communicating finance options, discussing with patients and arranging financing options ethically and with clarity
* Tracking treatments from start to finish to report the practice’s success
* Some Nursing duties require offering support to clinicians with chairside assistance
