*Dental Nurse *

Two experienced, professional dental nurses with a talent in client care are sought after for a Liverpool city centre based dental practice. *The role* - Build trusting relationships with patients, ensuring their comfort and satisfaction. - Prepare instrument trays and equipment for dental procedures. - Provide chairside assistance to dentists, hygienists, and therapists during clinical procedures. - Assist with coordination of appointment bookings to meet daily production targets and ensure smooth workflow. - Assist in gaining acceptance for treatment plans from patients and support the practice in obtaining testimonials and referrals. - Maintain strict standards of hygiene and cross infection control in accordance with the latest guidelines and practice protocols. - Ensure patient confidentiality is maintained at all times, adhering to practice procedures and protocols. - Assist in maintaining surgery management procedures at the end of each day. - Report any faulty or malfunctioning equipment for prompt resolution. - Complete paperwork accurately and promptly, updating patient records as necessary. - Comply with all GDC requirements and maintain registration. - Monitor and manage stock levels for materials and sundries, liaising with the Lead Nurse for ordering. - Coordinate with dental laboratories for timely dispatch and receipt of work. - Actively participate in regular practice meetings. *The Dental Nurse requirements* - Qualified Dental Nurse with 3 years of qualified experience - Experience working chairside with senior practitioners, providing assistance during complex dental procedures. - Knowledge of dental terminology, instruments, and procedures. - Understanding of infection control protocols and regulations. - Familiarity with dental software systems for patient record management. - Current registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) and compliance with all regulatory requirements. - Additional certifications or training in radiography or dental nursing are desirable but not essential. *Skills & Attitudes:* - Enthusiastic and committed to delivering exceptional patient care. - Flexible and adaptable to changing work demands. - Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a positive and friendly demeanour. - Empathetic approach to patient care with strong listening skills. - Dedicated to providing a first-class customer service experience. - Builds trust and rapport with patients and colleagues. - Organised with good technical knowledge and follow-up abilities. - Works effectively both independently and as part of a team. - Proficient in IT skills. - Demonstrates honesty, integrity, and a can-do attitude. - Proactive and initiative-driven. - Willingness to learn new skills and take on challenges. - Adheres to practice systems and brand standards. - Maintains a professional appearance. *Benefits: - * - 20 days holiday plus bank holidays plus your birthday off! - Monthly Bonus scheme - 50% off dental treatment - GDC registration paid - Indemnity fees paid - Opportunities for professional development and training - Supportive and collaborative work environment If you are passionate about providing high-quality patient care and are looking to join a dynamic team, we would love to hear from you! *Salary & Benefits* Salary: £23,500 - £28,000 per annum, depending on experience Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 1-hour unpaid lunches Job Types: Full-time, Permanent Pay: £23,500.00-£28,000.00 per year Benefits: * Store discount Schedule: * Monday to Friday Supplemental pay types: * Bonus scheme Experience: * Dental nursing: 3 years (required) Licence/Certification: * registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) (required) Work Location: In person
