He is dependent on carers for all of his care needs, transfers and mobility and uses a wheelchair. He requires hoisting for all transfers which requires assistance of 2 carers.

You will be joining a small care team within a family home where you will be taking direction from Elijahs Mother/ The Case Manager/ The Team Leader to ensure that Elijah receives all the care he needs. He requires full assistance with his daily routines and all of his personal care needs. The role will include a mixture of PEG feeding and suctioning, monitoring and recording health status and observations, medication administration, supporting his mobility via hoisting and assisting with all of his therapies.

Elijah would love someone calm but very proactive and able to bring lots of enthusiasm to the role, who is able to promote his learning, care and independence in the home and community.
