reviews is currently looking for an experienced and dedicated Band 6 Community Mental Health Practitioner to take on a new ongoing contract role within a single point of access (SPA) setting.
Community Mental Health Practitioner Pay Rate: £26 per hour (assignment rate)
Location: Brixton, Greater London
Contract Type: Locum, 3-Months and Full-time - 37.5 hours per week, 5 days a week, rotating roster including early, lates and nights
Working Arrangements: Staff will be expected to be in the office between 2-3 days per week and the rest working from home (WFH)

Assess the physical and mental well-being needs, plan, implement, evaluate and monitor care in collaboration with the service user, carers, and other members of the multidisciplinary team Ensure appropriate and up to date Risk assessments and care plans are available for service users attending the clinic Demonstrate an understanding of the distress caused by social and personal consequences of mental illness for service users and their carers Work within policy, professional and legal frameworks at all times. This requires knowledge of NMC Code of Professional Conduct, risk assessment and child protection protocols, Mental Health Act, CPA, and Trust clinical policies Actively encourage service users to work towards self-determination and freedom of choice within legal, ethical and professional constraints Requirements of the Community Mental Health Nurse:
Degree or equivalent in Mental Health Nursing Experience working as a Community Psychiatric Nurse NMC Registration Experience working in an NHS setting Enhanced DBS Contact:
