Responsibilities
* Oversee daily operations of the care home ensuring compliance with all regulatory requirements.
* Lead, mentor, and support staff to deliver high-quality care and improve their skills.
* Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, ensuring their diverse needs are met.
* Manage budgets and financials, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
* Foster a welcoming and positive environment for both residents and their families.
* Communicate effectively with residents, families, staff, and external stakeholders.
* Coordinate staff schedules and ensure adequate staffing levels for seamless operations.
Requirements
* Proven experience in a managerial role within a care home or similar environment.
* Strong understanding of elderly care regulations and compliance needs.
* Excellent leadership and team-building skills with a nurturing approach.
* Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with all stakeholders.
* Ability to manage budgets and resources efficiently.
* Compassionate, patient, and committed to positively impacting residents' lives.
* Relevant qualifications in health and social care, such as NVQ Level 5 or equivalent
