The Role: Scheduler
Schedule patient visits in a logistically smart manner. Support the clinical teams in understanding and confirming service capacity. Planning and responding to workload in accordance with operational priorities. Ensuring clinical visits are allocated appropriately to ensure patient safety, requirements and consistency of care. Support clinical managers and clinical staff in amending and adjusting schedules as required and in discussion with clinicians. To support the clinical teams in the registering of new patients as required. To manage and monitor visit alerts using People Planner software system during core hours. To support stock management and ordering of stocks for clinical staff, i.e. PPEs. Support the delivery of high-quality services to patients and their families/ carers To work onsite as part of the clinical teams. The postholder will be expected to liaise with patients in relation to scheduling queries.
About You:
Previous experience of scheduling patient visits or scheduling within a Health and Social care setting. Working in a clinical office with professional staff or experience of working in a clinical administrative role. Highly developed organisational skills. Articulate and numerate Able to prioritise, plan work to meet set deadlines. Able to work well within a team. Works with high level of detail and accuracy. Able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders including patients and relatives. Ability to build rapport and credibility with senior clinical and managerial teams in the delivery of performance targets, service delivery Able to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders including patients and relatives. Ability to build rapport and credibility with senior clinical and managerial teams.
Youll also need: The right to work in the UK without any form of sponsorship. Strong IT skills, ability to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint, TEAMS and Outlook
