Band 6 Occupational Therapist (OT) – (medical, surgical, orthopaedics, neuro)
Day Webster have just received the position below located in Portsmouth. This position will be full time 37.5 hours
Duties are
To assess and treat own caseload of patients within the defined clinical area and maintains associated records To undertake all aspects of clinical duties as an autonomous practitioner within your area of specialty Facilitates and supports the discharge planning process Supervises less experienced physiotherapists, therapy assistants / technicians and students. To work flexibly across specialties when requested, and if competency allows Requirements:
Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC) as a practising Occupational Therapist.
Proven experience in delivering occupational therapy services within a healthcare or community setting.
Strong assessment and intervention skills, with a client-centred approach to care planning.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and collaborate effectively with team members.
