Are you an enthusiastic and patient-focused Phlebotomist looking for a rewarding temp/locum contract in a supportive environment for the next couple of months? A fantastic opportunity has arisen for you to join their dedicated team, working three days or mornings a week with a primary focus on phlebotomy, and the chance to progress into a Healthcare Assistant (HCA) role if you wish to go permanent in the future.
Main Responsibilities:
* Perform a variety of phlebotomy services, including:
* Taking blood samples
* Ensuring patient comfort and safety during procedures
About Them: They are a small, welcoming GP surgery located in the beautiful, rural town in Kent, housed in a historic converted school building. They proudly serve 6,000 patients under a general medical services contract and are part of a wider GP federation. Their dedicated staff includes two GP partners, salaried GPs, a practice nurse, practice manager, finance manager, dispensers, and administrative personnel. Their mission is to provide high-quality services to patients and to grow responsibly within the community.
Person Specification:
* Experience in phlebotomy, preferably within a general practice setting.
* Candidates should demonstrate excellent communication and computer skills and have the ability to multitask, working independently and as part of a team.
